Why NOT to order from AZR Machine co.
Why NOT to order from AZR Machine:
NOTE: This is my personal experience. I am not commenting on the company altogether, but rather, on my experience in dealing with them. To start out, this company was very professional and all around helpful with answering any questions I had about their product, a conversion kit for an M14. I ordered the kit soon after all of my probing was done. The kit took 22 days to make. Hand carved wood and metal was soon sent out via UPS. This is where things started to go awry. The kit was (as I suspected) held up at customs for a little bit. After it got through, the package was deemed as ‘lost’ from UPS. I opened a trace on the package and was told that any further information regarding the packages whereabouts would be sent ONLY to the shipper. I began contacting the shipper on a regular basis but was met with an empty inbox. The shipper refused to contact me any further on the issue. He would not respond to any further questioning I had regarding the shipment and it’s progress in UPS. After 2 full weeks, the shipper STILL did not answer any of my questions, or respond, by any means of contact, to me. I wanted to see if the shipper had gone offline, or perhaps was away for a duration of time, and COULDN’T respond. I had a close friend email him an general inquiry. He responded no sooner then a handful of hours later. Effectively proving he was indeed online, but still not replying to me. Today, the trace was closed at UPS. The package has been lost and the shipper refused to contact UPS with the information they requested from him, apparently over and over. He refused to produce the correct documentation, after being probed by both UPS and myself. A UPS agent told that the company had contacted him on more then a few occasions, requesting more information about the shipment, but he was absolutely no help, and would not return their calls. At this time, I am past the paypal 45 day window for any type of claim, and as such can not be reimbursed by them at all. I have lodged a complaint with paypal. UPS can offer no aid for me either as they are liable to the shipper. Luckily, Mastercard will have this issue resolved for me. I would STRONGLY suggest that any person looking for a custom M14 kit look elsewhere. It is my experience that the shipper does in fact produce the product (which has yet to be seen, obviously.) and he does in fact ship it. If anything should happen to your shipment along the way, however, do not expect ANY kind of help, even if the shipping company REQUIRES help from AZR Machine Co…

If you paid with credit card through Paypal, you can still do a chargeback. Talk to your bank.

Sorry, But Not Surprised
Hey, thanks for the heads up like others have said, and sorry for all the trouble they caused you, however, I can't say I'm surprised. If it's the company I think you're talking about, they host their site on freewebs. In my opinion, any COMPANY that hosts on a free web server seems a little sketchy! At least pay for your own domain. Anyways, your comments have been noted and I don't think they will be receiving any business from me!
