I m only looking for the top cover of it, not the stock

Would a Metal RAS replace the top cover?

Does WGC do individual orders? Or, if they only do group orders, which of the retailer deals with them? THANKS.

Yes a Metal RAS would cover it, I had one on my M14, King Arms brand.

Or you can see if they sell a basic plastic heat shield for the top.

Do wood ones even exist? I tried looking but found nothing.

Edit - oops didn't check demco's post. Maybe it does exist but doubt it'd be sold seperately.

Taking a closer look at the G&G veteran it looks like the heat shield even on the wood one is still plastic.. just brownish. (says so in the description - ABS Heat Shield)

You might be out of luck, so heres some... good luck. lol

G'day,

Real steel M14 stocks have fiberglass upper fore ends. You can get one relatively cheaply through gunbroker.com. No importation issues since it's just a hunk of fiberglass to Customs.

Hrrrm.. This is tempting me to buy a wooden stock for my TM m14... The old girl hasn't gotten any special upgrades in the past 2 years..

Edit: :'( Why are the ones for the G&G 115 where the ones for the TM made out of the same wood 300+... :'(

Did a quick search, found nothing on it. Any keyword that would lead me to find that fiberclass part? Again, the aim is to have that M 14 as close as possible to the real one, is the fiberglass part made to look wooden?

G'day,

Look for M14 handguard. There's a few auctions and at least one seller who has a whole box full to pick from. The GI handguards are brown.
