Good to see aftermarket Capa parts are still coming out. Looks like several of the Freedom Art receivers (mostly the ones with comp) have been disco'd.

I can't read the words from the Koba page,
but that looks like the old Kimber frame that was released a while ago and now impossible to find, just like the 5.1 grips.

The Kimber style TLE something something frame was made by Freedom Art.... The 5.1 grips are in stock(both OD and black one) at Dentrin: http://www.dentrinityshop.com/den_se...ip&pg=3&rpp=10 Can you actually import Hi-Capa frame? Or would this count as receiver also and therefore is an restricted item? BTW I don't know what material is this either....nor how well will this kit be to fit and function. FA's frame needs a bit of work for it to cycle properly, where as apparently SD's don't. But SD style frame are more for race pistols... This would look pretty sick though with the SD Springfield slide + barrel bushing kit... Last edited by RacingManiac; April 4th, 2008 at 15:36.. |

Cool cool, I thought it was Koba— thanks for the info.
Yah.. Den.. they ripped off my buddy so I'm hesitant to buy from them again... and they chage quite a bit more than UN, WGC and Red for shipping. Funny how they are always the last to sell out of stuff eh? Good luck with it, looks wicked.

Pistol frame? Yeah I would think so. 5.1 grips aren't, 5.1 slides aren't.
The mid-frame must be restricted. |
