M16 SPR/Mk12
Hey I was wondering what mags this gun takes. standard m4/m16 mags?

The classic army SPR uses regular M16/m4 mags
Not sure about the real steel as I thought I've seen it with a 7.62 round.... I'm hoping illusion see's this as he's got it all down pat. If you really need an answer and there isn't one below, PM Illusion, he knows much of what you seek to learn.

The SPR uses m-16 mags. The one shrike is thinking of is the SR-25.

http://www.airsoftcanada.com/showthread.php?t=28289 The SPR mk12 is a 5.56mm weapon platform based on the Colt design. Therefore, it can take standard M4/M16 mags. Personally, I chose the shorter 20 round type mags for use in my replica so that shooting from the prone position is easier. |

Where did you get the Mod 1 from? I am looking to get one. Shootsoft only has the mod 0 and i would like the full RIS

UNCompany is one of the few places that carry the ultra expensive version... the front end will easily cost you more than the cost of your base gun.
