Battery for CA36K

I ordered one of those Firefox 1500mAh battery from ehobby. I'll see how it compares to my Intellect 1400mAh when I get it.

Your BBs should hit 3-4 inches below the crosshair at short range. If they hit right in the middle, that means they will hit even higher once you increase the range.

You can use a 9.6v in your stock gun. You don't really need to, but you can pretty safely in a v3 with metal bushings. I'd stick to Intellect.

The cross hair will be high because the scope is mounted pretty high up. The screw at the top is the one you want to crank to lower the aim, but you probably won't get the point of impact at the cross hair to line up at anything less than 40'.

Thanks the The Saint, I tried adjusting the screw on the top all the way, but it didn't change anything.
I read a review of the CA36K by las vegas here and he mentioned that the stock spring in the scope is pretty weak, so maybe changing the spring would make some difference??

Btw, I was thinking i had a bad hop up system.
I don't really understand what is the hop up for.
I moved the hop up on my ca g36 all the way up and down and didn't noticed any difference while shooting. On both ways i hit the target at the same point.
So what actually the hop up do?

My hop up is also pretty easy to move and feel a big sloppy, I mean it is NOT as snug as the one on my CA MP5 or TM Thompson.
For you guys that have the CAg36 is that normal for the hop up to feel a bit sloppy on the ca36?

So Omi-san, the aiming on your CA G36 is exactly like mine? i mean you when you aim at the main circled crosshair you actually hit 3 to 4 inches below the target? does that happened to your G36 as well?
Because I am really concerned i have a bad one, since my TM Thompson and MP5 hit on the target exactly where i aim in the aiming sight.

According to the picture attached in order to perfectly hit a target I have to aim at the Point 8, which is the point of aim at 800 meter. Is that the same behaviour of your G36?

Btw, i thought it would be the opposite of what you show in the graph.
I thought at longer distances the BBs would actually hit even lower since they would start to descent, wouldn't they?

He's not talking about BB drop, He's talking about how the optics are set.

The scope is 3-4 inches above the barrel, so it's then perfectly normal for the BBs to hit 3-4 inches lower since they are parallel. Make sure the windage is properly adjusted, but elevation has to be adjusted over a longer distance.

There is a known problem with the CA G36 integrated scope. It will move when you turn the adjustment screws clockwise, but sometimes not come back in place when you unscrew. I think there is a way to "unstuck" the scope using your fingers, but I never had a problem with mine so I don't know.

The hop-up gives a backspin to the BB to make it travel farther. It's not always noticeable indoor. You should leave it turned off (you can turn it on a little if BBs roll out of the barrel). When you go to a game, you can then adjust it to get the best possible range without shooting BBs upward.

My CA G36 hop-up wasn't working when I got it because it lacked the tiny cushion that pushes down on the rubber. Try to look down the barrel with a flashlight and see if there is a difference between hop-up turned off and all the way up. You should see a black bump.

Remember that even if your scope is perfectly zeroed, BBs only have one tenth of a real bullet's velocity. Their path is not always predictable and they are affected by a bunch of elements.
