Spring rifle trigger mechanism help req.
Okay, I'm pretty clueless when it comes to springers so I'm hoping someone out there might be able to offer some help.
I was thinking of doing a little bolt action project & was considering using a Dboys Kar98 as the base the only problem is that for what I had in mind I'd prefer the trigger mechanism to be further forward. So my question is, how difficult would it be to rig the trigger to be set further forward on a spring rifle? Is this even realistically possible? If so a simple yet comprehensive explanation would earn my undying gratitude. |

thanks for the advice, I'd only really be using the bolt assembly & receiver from the Kar98. I figure the trigger would ideally be about an inch forward of it's current location, is this a manageable distance?
Sorry to sound like such a spanner & all help or suggestions are very much appreciated! |

One inch should be very managable. Depending on which route you go, you'll need a bit of luck or skill. It's by no mens an impossible job, just make sure you take the time to line everything up properly to ensure that the trigger works properly and has a good response time. If you have any type of mechanical skill and access to decent tools, you should pull it off with no problems.
