New battery wont hold a charge
I purchased 2 brand new Intellect 1200mah stick batteries recently. I use a TLP 4000c charger. One battery charges fine, the other however wont hold a charge at all.
I read a few faq's and tried both a soft cycle and a deep cycle. Neither works. When I connect it to the rifle (tm type 89 if relevant) I fires off about a dozen rounds before dying. If i wait about 3-5 mins I can get another dozen off.. etc etc ad nausium. Is this battery simply a lemon? or is there some other way besides soft/deep cycling I can use to "reset" it?

don't know if that charger you have can do it, but you can check the internal resistance of your pack.
If it is really high, then the pack is either a lemon, or there is a bad contact somewhere. |
