Not Eye Safe, Pretty Boy Maximus on the field take his picture!

It's a one way valve, it doesn't hurt to store gas in them, infact it helps. I've heard of one case where someone lost a gas SMG magazine in the fall, found it in the spring, and although it was all rusty it still had alot of gas in it.

Yup, keeps the seals tight and not dried out. My KJW P229 mag leaks if I leave it a day or two without gas and I have to replace the o-ring!

Is it safe to store them with more than just a little gas? Like a full mag?

Full mag probably isn't the best idea, but I can't see how it would hurt it that much. Just keep enough in there so the valve is tight. Doesn't take that much, a little spurt of gas at most.

3.5 seconds fills my M9 mag usually, 1 second fill is what I use when I go to store them.

Yup seen that myself..A teamate (Lotech) lost a mag at Wolfpack primary last year. 1 of the WP members handed back to him this spring. Lotech changed the BB's in it popped it in and sure enough was able to empty the clip, no prob's..I was totally shocked.

Seriously. I've had to fix quite a few GBB mags because they started leaking due to no gas being in them when stored. And I've more often than not stored my GBB mags (and I have a lot of them, 6 KSC G19 mags, 2 KSC MK23 mags, 1 KSC M11 mag) with a full charge of gas in them, largely because I fill my mags before a game, load BBs, ammo I don't use at the game I dump back into the various containers I store them in (considering I have a half dozen different types and weights of ammo..........). Never found any point in dry firing the gun a dozen or two times just to reduce the amount of gas in them.

No I wasn't hacked =) Just didn't have time to check.
I'm quite clear about the GBB thing now, I'm sure I can start out with it soon enough by myself. Thanks alot you guys, I appreciate the help a lot =D |
