Looks good Karl! Came out tight. I know you've just gone 553, but if its shorter you're after, perhaps the old school 511 would solve it (with the dollar so good they can be had for around $350 new). That'll give you room for the rear sight.
Another way might be to try something like a real steel YHM rail. Nice price, good rail and they can mount flush to the body. Or just leave it... looks good already. Keep a rear sight in your gear for the miniscule chance the Eo packs it in.
