Anyway, if you can find some good cheap patterns that vary in colors (flecktarn, tigerstripe, woodland, DPM, etc..) Then buy a set of each and something like a coyote brown rig to wear overtop, and you'll basically be set for any season and local terrain. For the winter...whites.

Think of it this way if your camo blends into daytime foliage, it will blend into nighttime foliage the same.
Black will always be darker than anything else, so it will stand out at night unless it is pitch black out. |

I think that's the idea behind Multicam not having black in it. I personally like a little bit of black in camo, in my eyes it kinda simulates shadows. |

Few people have mentioned it. But in lower BC woodlands Flecktarn is amazing. My whole team uses it and I've lost track of the amount of times people have just 'disappeared'. We have occassional players who have used the following: CADPAT, MARPAT and TIGERSTRIPE and none of them work as well. Also we had a guy using US Woodlands which is actually quite effective, although dated. I wouldn't say it's the best camo but it's cheap and it does work.

We played with Tropentarn at that field (im assuming its Rawdon). When we were on the edge of the forest, I couldn't see where my squad was when they were more than a few meters away (and neither could anyone else)

how about this one....
but no, seriously, when Cadpat will come out with a combat set like the one that Crye Combat top/Pants in Multicam w/Kneepad has...that would be pretty sweet... Last edited by leblanc74; November 2nd, 2007 at 19:43.. |
