Ok I know I should not be asking the what’s a better gun question, and I know both guns are not the brand name top of the line but I am looking at University next year and I got to save. I got two choices AGM M14 or the Kraken, I’m not asking what gun shoots better or looks better but if one of these guns is garbage because durability means more to me then performance. I heard both good and bad things about both of them (bad being mostly that they are cheep). I don’t want to make the wrong decision, spend 300-400$ and have it break on me.

I read the posts on both of the guns and didn’t find any real problem being mentioned. Please if there are issues post them please.

Thanks in advance

I've heard the AGM M14s have a problem with losing semi-auto after a while. From all accounts the Kraken, aside from being clear, isn't a bad gun.

I'd lean towards the AGM, if you're absolutely sure it's an AGM and not a KART.

Hasn't happened on my AGM M14. I've fired it on semi mostly. Not a hitch. Hell, even during rapid fire on semi auto, from my experience, many gearboxes lock up until you switch back to full auto and fire a burst. Never happened on the M14! Its rock solid, heavy, accurate, powerful, and with an excellent rate of fire. Can't beat full metal either. I should post pics...

Get the M14.

Cheers,
Alex

I just got my Kraken and it looks good. Not the tan colour, but a dark green which looks much better. I'll get a pic soon but for now here's a cool shot:

Where did you find that picture? Even the DND ones are classified.

Edit, ok, this is the best I could find with 10 minutes of looking. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...AreaOffice.jpg
