Which Midcaps are the best for M4?

Hey everyone.

Which midcaps fit G&P M4 bodies best? I'm looking at either the MAG M-Series (100 round) or the STAR 85 round midcaps. How are the G&P Mags?

Thanks in advance!

Star and MAG are both Plastic (disposable as they say on the box)
not really disposable, but basically you wont cry over losing em.

Star and MAG are pretty much the same IMO tho sum people say MAG is better than Star (which is why u only get 8 MAG mags in a box while Star gives you 10. Quick and easy way to build up a ton of mags if ur not interested in Quality Metal mags.

My Opinion is to Order in KA mags. They have a reputation here for having flawless feed and they are dirt cheap. Also they are metal.

Gimme a PM if your interested in getting em

Sometimes it can depend on the body itself...for example, my G&P loves G&P midcaps, and not STAR (lows) or MAG (mids).

My TM loves all 3, but some people have trouble with STAR or just G&P

G&P are metal. MAGS are usually thicker plastic than STAR (at least mine were..the stars were locaps)

KA's are great for price, but are standard low cap not mid cap.

Hit up a game and ask to try people's mags and see what fits. MAG is a great price point if they fit your magwell good. If star fit good, then go milsim and get the 30 rounders! Yip!

Mah bad XD
I didnt read his post thoroughly, i was multitasking XD

Yea, KA makes Lowcaps and Highcaps.
Sometimes you have to do body modification with new receivers to get mags to fit properly. One thing tho from my experience neways. Star mags were way too small for the G&P Metal bodies and even the metal TMs and KAs seem to be a little loose and i hated the rattling inside my receiver. Thats what turned me off a G&P M16A3. They feel loose and not snug compared to the Guarders. So you should have no problem with tight magwells etc. KAs have a good reputation for reliable feeding and they are a good bang for your buck. SINNs right tho, Hit up a game and see what works for you. At the end of the day tho, its about your comfort, not anyone elses.

I got 4x Star M4 Mags, but theyre realcaps. Gimme a shout if ur interested

Im a fan of KA mags. They are fairly inexpensive IMO.
Ive got 5x68round mags, and 2x300 round mags as well, and have experienced no issues with either and have put some decent use into them. I think KA makes some 120 round ones but I believe they only come in plastic.

I have 3 MAG brand 120 round mags as well, they have stood up and worked very well also.

Like the other folks have recommend, trial and errot to see what fits best and what suites your budget.

the G&P mags work best in G&P guns (common sense)
I know they feed just fine when loaded with 70 rounds, we dont use them at midcap capacity here due to our game rules
