First Factory or PDI?

Hello, I was just wondering what upgrade parts generally perform better in the APS2 - PDI or FF? Thanx.

My experience with PDI parts has been hit and miss over the years. FF parts have always been good to me.

that I'm not too sure, maybe I should specify, LAYLAX or PDI. I'm not sure if there's any difference, but they are totally separate parts.

You're very mistaken.

PDI is PDI. They are tied with X-Fire.

First Factory falls under the Laylax group of companies.
LayLax is the mother company, and beneath it are the following subsidiary companies:
- First Factory (Sometimes seen as just "First")
- Prometheus
- Mode2
- Nitro.Vo
- PSS2
- PSS96
- PSS10
- Nineball
- Satellite
- Battery Charger
- Ghost Gear

Each of those subsidiary brands are responsible for different airsoft parts/accessories/upgrades that fall under the Laylax branding. For example, Ghost does gear (pouches, rigs, holsters, BDUs, etc), the PSS line are the Perfect Shooting Systems for bolt action guns (2 for APS2, 96 for Type96, 10 for VSR10), Prometheus does AEG gearbox upgrades, Mode2 does suppressors, Satellite does odds and ends such as chronographs, Nineball does GBB upgrades, and Nitro.Vo/First mostly handles external upgrades. Many times, the names Laylax and First are used interchangeably.

Although both mother companies are Japanese in origin, PDI and LayLax are two completely seperate entities.

In general, I've found that the LayLax parts have very good craftsmanship and excellent quality control, much more so than PDI. PDI has been hit or miss on several of their products, although they do have a couple of quality products.

ok, to specify further, PSS2 would be a better buy than PDI parts for an APS?
