Thank you all!
The paint is black krylon, just roughed the surface first and it sticks really well. |

I like to pretend I got balls bigger then half those that post on here... - asides from my imaginary world - Towels.. sure... Just leaving the kleenex so I dont slip on little boy splooge puddles... or would y'all prefer day-old socks?
Candyman - how long've you been machining and doing stuff like this for? ( I mean, absolutly no experiance or getting taught from friends in the time prior to you getting the mill a few weeks back?) - seriously impressive. I'd love to figure out how to do anything like the above, however knowing me I'd lose an arm.. once more, kudos

Duff_Man_in_CADPATs - No plans to make another, I have some people emailing me with offers, but it will have to be a lot of money, this took 220 hours.
C.G Ive been "machining" sinse I bought the mill 4 months ago, im getting the hang of it now. I find it easier to just jump in with both feet, get my hands dirty and experiment rather than letting someone tell me what they think is best. Couple of people have told me that using a drill chuck is a bad idea, well........ so far so good, when it breaks i'll change it. Coming from cutting all the metal by hand with the WA2000 getting the mill is just like...... just like having a mechanical arm that doesnt wear out! you know what I mean though, if someone was to give me a set of engineering diagrams I wouldnt know where to begin, but once I have a picture in my head of what I want I can make it. |

Just FOUR months??? Holy crap. No lad, 'getting the hang of it now' is not enough to describe what you have built.
You're one of those rare folks who can do this type of pure magic. |
