Scope Reticle Help PLEASE!

Hi Guys, I just got an "ACTION M1 3.5 -10 X 40 Rifle scope", and the reticle crosshair thread/string snapped. Please tell me there's a way to fix/replace the thread because this is breaking my heart to toss it out never to use it, not even once. Is there services to repair or fit new types?.. the manual says to report problems to tasco, but i don't think this is supported.

Any help is very much appreciated thanks a lot.

Can you not return it and get a replacement from the place you bought it from?

Talk to Tasco if it says to report problems to them...

Thanks for your replies. Gamz, well i can not return it because i bought it from someone who got it from wgc, it's kinda screwed that way. yanchan, Well i think it's tasco based i dunno, action from wgc have anything to do with tasco? cause its a leupold replica. i dunno if some one knows about action scopes being affiliated with tasco plz msg back.

Mr planters, Really! cause that's unbelievable, so the string that creates the cross hair ripped? and lenscrafter fixed it? I'll try it tomorrow I hope to my various gods that works but it sounds very unlikely. I tried camera shops and gun shops today.. only thing I found recommended were two scope repair shops in Florida and thats it. and they are EXPENSIVE! not worth a fake leupold maybe a real one. Thanks a lot guys.
