M24 SOCOM upgrades

So i picked up a M24 for cheep with blown internals and now im looking to all the way for outdoor.

Im looking to shoot in the low 400 or high 300. I dont know what upgrade kit to go with. Gas or Spring and then what kit has the most parts because i need to replace most everything.

money really isnt a problem but id like to keep it under a $700

Thanks

Do a quick search here, you will find everything you need to know, in too many details.

Stalker covered the topic a bunch of time.

what other guns share the same parts at the CA M24. Ive seen people saying get this from an ASP and this from another gun.

My only other question that i couldnt find in the archives what GAS or SPRING? because im dealing with a shell i would like to know what your opinion was.

It is a spring rifle as stock. It may be possible to convert to gas, as with many snipers, though.
