Flight jackets - any collectors?

This is a thread not so much for pilot impressions per-se but anyone who collects flight jackets or similar items. Even guys who collect military jackets from other services to wear casually. I recently picked up a brand new alpha industries MA-1 flight jacket in sage green after seeing a picture of my father wearing an origional on a finishing trip in the late 70ies or early 80ies. I thought it was pretty cool and picked one up myself. I then started doing a little bit of research on flight jackets and I find the different styles over the last 60 or so years to be rather interesting as it progressed with airplane and garmant technologies over the years.

Anyways I've been thinking of picking up the newer CWU-45/P jacket or maybe a leather G-1 (think top gun).

Anyone else collect jackets to wear off the field?

Most of the jackets including mine are visible here I'd link pics but didint want to hot link:

I own a black MA-1 and it's been my standard jacket for about 4 years or so. Durable as all hell that jacket is. Though I wish I could find a place that sold the OD/Sage one without the blaze orange inside.

I also own a blue and OD CF flight jackets. And though they are comfortable and got a multitude of pockets, I have found them to be less then satisfactory for build quality compared to the MA-1.

But, like you, am always interested in flight gear and jackets from different time frames and countries.

I own one of these, in dark brown goatskin:

Actualy colour and finish look EXACTLY like this after 5 years of wearing it:

And have the former issue CF flight jacket (in blue) as well as two CF flightsuits in blue as well. Have to laugh everytime I think about the two weeks I spent at CFB Gagetown in 2000, one of the pilots commented on the fact that it was about time the pilots were being issued OD flightsuits and gear, because "You couldn't even hide in Walmart with those crappy blue ones!"

So no, not a collector, but an owner and admirer anyways.

Ive got an Italian reporduction of what I iam guessing is a U.S. bomber/flight jacket. My parents picked it up for me years ago in Italy. Its bloody heavy and even has the removable collar and the high altitude vest/liner. Its nice and pretty good qaulity just impractically heavy and cumbersome for city use. Ill try and get some pics.
