Multicam and OD. A good combo?
I just started to use multicam for the off season, and all i have for gear is a OD plate carrier. I find, up close, that the OD overpowers the lighter multicam, making a very loud contrast, which could possibly detract from its capability to camouflage. So my question is who uses OD on Multicam, and how effective does it seem to work for you. And if possible, post pics.
So far this is the only pic i can find, keep in mind this is not me. ![]() |

I've been using the same recently and I've managed to hide in plain sight once just by not moving. I do have a multicam molle chest rig and belt, I'm just waiting to get some time to sew the pouches I need for it.

Our team uses multicam . Some of us have od vest others have the coyote brown , and others even use the woodland camo. I think both the od and the coyote brown work well with the multicam. It all depends on the environment your playing in and personal preference.

I'll add a yes as well, but depends on the environment as stated above. In fall and woody type environments, a coyote brown or multicam webbing set up will work best, but in leafy areas OD really helps break up the lighter multicam human silhouette. Case in point, the last game I played I was with Bruce, Dirty Deeds, Haggis, Quantis, Garcia, etc. and we were working our way towards the enemy base to rescue our pilots, VIP and SF crew, and at one point I was scanning ahead (we were moving forward together fanned out) looking for contacts, I scanned left to right, then right to left, I got to the middle then saw movement 20ft ahead of me moving right. It was Quantis standing there, because I was looking 100ft ahead of us I never saw him until he moved. He was wearing multicam with his OD mesh vest and pouches.

I used multicam and coyote brown and it was just perfect, nevertheless your setup could be quite effective, and nice too!
