Botach Tactical
Hello, I have been doing some research into several online tactical supplies retailers and was wondering if anyone has had any experience with Botach Tactical (http://www.botachtactical.com/). I've contacted them, but they say they won't except credit cards and I thought that seemed odd so I want to make sure they are a completely legitimate retailer before I send a money order for ~$300.
Thanks, -Gordon |

Just make 100% sure (call them) that the stuff you want is in stock. Things get screwy with them if some items are not in stock.

Very true, but unlike CC, ya can't go back on it... Same reason why whenever I do actually make that Lightfighter order, it's CC, it avoids a large chance that someone may feel the need to... push people around.

I've heard a lot of bad things about BOTACH, enough so that to me their name is synonymous with bad. One screwed-over customer opined their name was an acronym for Bend Over To Accept C*ck Hammering.

BOTACH has a very bad reputation.
Please ask around on other web sites like Canadian Gun Nutz, Snipers Hide etc. You will get some very straight answers. This is the only time you'll hear me say something bad about another retailer.

Thanks for the information guys. I think I'll still end up ordering them, unless I can convince a Canadian retailer like sealsactiongear to give me a deal, just because Botach has everything I want except ESS SC Goggles (and I only make $12/hour). But now I'll definitely call them to check stock and pester them repeatedly about the order if need be. Thanks again.

So far the replies have indicated problems with shipping and poor customer service. Nobody has mentioned being ripped off. Are you aware of people who have been?

BoTach does NOT have a good rep.
Botach will accept Credit Cards, just not CANADIAN credit cards. As Farmboy suggested, ask around on some of these websites: Snipershide Lightfighter Canadian Gun nutz AR15.com SKBY.

Don't even bother asking, just use the search feature. That's enough threads on it's own.

Lol, I never ended up posting my response... from last year :P. Anyways, I don't see the problem my knife came in with absolutely no problems. I emailed them about my order being canceled but they emailed me back within 24 hours and said that nothing is wrong with the order and it has been shipped.
