Newb??? Guns Guns Guns?????

HI everyone.
I am new to airsoft and was just age verified at 36 years old by Derrick at Flag Raiders yesterday. I got to hold sever guns and shoot a few. Thanks to Derrick and all the other people who helped me out.

So all you other Newbs pay attention and go get age verified and try out some guns before you post to many questions.

To all you Vets out there could you list what gun you are going to buy next and why??????

I am hoping this will help me out in my gun selection.

Thanks

All guns stock shoot the same pretty much, Pick a gun you like, Personally I hate the famas look so I wouldn't get it and some people hate the Armelites so they wont get it.

IF your looking into upgrade there is an endless number of people who can work on many type of weapons so dont worry about not being able to upgrade.

The best advice we can give you is make sure your first weapon is a AEG, keep it stock for a couple of games so you can get use to the weapon as well as 10ft boundary ruling (mercy kills, danger range) Then if you want to upgrade just get the basic's that way your gun will last longer with no issues and if any easily to fix. The more you upgrade the more problems your gun will have. Some people have monster upgrade guns that are worth $1000's and hardly use them because they are always broken and then there is people with just the basic and hardly ever have problems.

Oh yeah, Welcome to ASC and the game of airsoft,
Once college is done, ill hunt for you

There are LOTS of threads about "best guns". Feel free to read them and pick one.

I remember Greylocks saying that any gun that isn't always in Doctor's Corner is a good gun...

Honestly, just pick something that appeals to you and is made by a reputable company. Asking us what WE like will not help YOU choose.

Dude, if you wanna talk about you and your needs.. start your own thread.. speedjunkiesracing is asking different questions then what you are.

speedjunkiesracing, I'm in the process of getting a G3 SG1, its ordered.. kinda.. anyways. I'd kinda like a Tokyo Marui M3 Super90, or a G36c to make a SL9-SD out of.. but picking your AEG's is all about what you want.. what your comfortable with. Some people are Snipers, some people are the first into a building. Some people are just good at getting shot. But your AEG is all about you, and your needs.

hmmm since i've pretty much made my g36c into an machine gun, i'm not calling it an mg36 because it doesn't really look like an mg36 should.i thought i'd go back to an m4 or maybe try and get the vfc hk416 and make that more of my assault rifle instead of a bb hose.

Careful with buying guns for your son. Keep it as your own and let him play with it, make him understand it isnt his...I dont want to tell you what to do with your kids, but around here if you buy guns for minors who arent well known and they might just run around the backyard with it, you're going to get hell..

But the M15A4 has always looked great to me. And I've heard it's very reliable.
