Silencers For M249
Like title says.
Does anyone know of silencers that work for the M249? I mean the para model that is. |

Is the barrel on the M249 threaded?
This would be so cool, slap a silent head kit in their, insulate the walls and have an insanely quite machine gun. Some poor new guy just gets torn apart from a HAIL storm of BB's never even hearing where they came from :P

Yup, you can put any silencer/flash hider on the star m249 it's the same 14mm thread like any other aeg. I currently have a delta stubby silencer on my para.

I was thinking of putting the mauri tracer unit on my m249 so i can use it to guide fire onto targets like a real m249's tracers do.

Any 14 mm CCW will thread onto the barrel if you remove the flash hider.

I'm just thinking about putting some LED lights in the box mag, mixing in some tracer rounds and using that for night games.
