M4 Silencer Question:
There are two ways I've seen silencers attached to M4A1's, first right at the tip of the barrel replacing the flash hider, the other being mounted over the barrel right to the front sight. Now I want to get a silencer that mounts at the end of the barrel, not from the sight on and want to make sure I pick a silencer that does that. Browing through WGCShop.com I've run into a few displayed in both fassions, is it the mounting bracket (or w/e you'd call it) that attaches the silencer to the gun that is responcable for its placement that I'd have to watch which silencer I pick because of the mounting bracket it comes with? I hope you guys know what I'm trying to say here...

Generally, if you get one that has "OPS" in the name, then you're looking at one that goes over the barrel and attaches near the sight.
Almost all other ones attach to the end of the barrel and replaces the flash hider. |

The G&P USSOCOM silencer fits all the way down the barrel to the triangle sight. I just ordered one. There really nice, i prefer them over any other silencer cause they have a nice look and dont add to much to the overall lenth
