To the extent of my experience, it shouldn't be a problem. As I understand it, only receivers and slides (and complete guns of course) are high seizure risk items. Canada customs is a bit unpredicatable however and I wouldn't rule out a long stay in customs. Also while on the topic, there is an American law that prevents the shipping of a wide array of gun related items internationally. I've never had an airsoft retailer or ebayer refuse to ship something, but several tactical/gun shops south of the border have denied me in attempts to buy such items (ie. real steel BUIS & handguards).
Hope that helps. EDIT: For the price, if I were you, I would speak to a Canadian VLTOR retailer about buying the real CASV. They are relatively inexpensive and you'de avoid any border issues.

Why would you buy from Airsoft GI for $275 USD plus shipping, when you can buy from UN Company for $190 USD including shipping?
I bought mine from UN Company, haven't received it yet as it was ordered today, but customs fees should be the same percentage from Hong Kong as it would from the US. However the customs fees would be more from the US as you will have paid more for your parts. And the only "Exclusive" Canadian retailer for VLTOR, doesn't even have any VLTOR parts listed on their site. VLTOR is selling the CASV for $295 USD, believe me you'll be paying through the nose from a Canadian source for the real deal. |
