KSC Glock 18c Selector switch problem

The selector switch on my Glock 18c binds everytime i shoot it. i have to put the switch either in the up position or the down position and hold while i do a full cock but after i shoot it same thing happens

When you switch from Safety to Semi or Full are you pulling the slide back slightly first then switching?

you may have lost the little detent BB/pin in the selector switch. Or also try tightening the set screw under the rear sight.

im pulling the slide all the way back then switching however when the slide goes forward it either goes back into bind or stays in which ever position i put it in i can shoot one bb but it then goes back into bind

i'll check for the detent and i have already tightend the screw same thing is happening

you may find it helps if you drill the diimple in the top metal assembly where the bearing sits a little bit deeper. I'm talking a "very little" bit deeper as sometimes the molding process does not make this good enough when they make the part. I would recomend using a drill press and be very gentle while doing it as the metal is soft and if you push down too hard you'll take out more material then you need to and might cause it to not work.

A 1/16" round dremel bit should work really well for this as it's perfectly round unlike a regular drill bit that the head is not perfectly round but a weird eliptical shape.
