There was a Madmax shotgun made before, by Hudson. It sucked ass. Extremely low powered, plastic everything and the shells leaked like hell.

This one looks 1000x better.

Classic cutdown handcannon, that's extremely cool.

My only gripe is with the 8mm load, i suspect it groups all 5 shots pretty tightly. I think I would have preferred something like 8-10 6mm, and be able to use lighter BBs and hopefully get a larger pattern.

I certainly hope the concept gets picked up by other manufacturers.

Wa Shan Mad Max &Double Barrel Shotgun 8MM (Short)?

No way Carl made this! Haha just kidding around.

What a hick shotgun, I'd prefer getting a M3 Pump Shotgun from TM.

Too bad it's 8mm, as stated before...

At almost 4 pounds, I wonder how much metal there is... the barrels&body look plastic even if I've seen crappy finish on metal guns before that made them look plastic... but the grips surely aren't wood, but that isn't as important as the rest of the gun...
Forget about it...

All-metal-and-wood gas shotties!
With 6mm's, the spread would be greater and it would take more ammo/shell... but a great find none the least.

Edit: Asked if anyone got one, but just found a review...

look's like it would be a hoot to use. Don't know if I would ever buy one, but definitely fun to use for a game or two.

The thing is, it doesn't use an inner barrel, so there's no reason someone couldn't make a front-half of the shell for 6mm bb's instead of 8mm. It's funny, but when I first found this gun a year ago, all they had available was 6mm shells.

You can buy 6mm shells and use them in the 8mm version. There's a strictly 6mm version of the shotgun as well, the 8mm can use both 6 and 8 shells.
