I just got the flashbang grenades today. Overall the build quality is very cheap, but $5 for a reusable grenade it's not bad. I had him ship them to me without any of the markings on it. The bang isn't too loud. The sound of the metal clip hitting the plastic is almost over powers the bang from the cap. It's also very light so it woud be safe for indoor

Ghillie, how long did it take for you to get them? I ordered some water/BB grenades from him and it has been over two week and nothing yet.

I think it took a total of 3 weeks. Shipping itself was really fast, it just took him a bit to ship it out. Not his fault, one of his items were out of stock and he had to refund me.

Was searching for timer info for an IR project I'm making for night games, came across this:
http://www.imakeprojects.com/projects/sonic-grenades/ Similar to the satchel charge I started designing a few months back using a digital egg timer and personal alarm. |

is doing up drawings for flash bang that's 100% safe and 100% effective now all i got to is figure out how to get the alarm to work for only a few seconds
did i say you can use them again and again over and over hehehe so long as the battery lives and you give it time to charge on a side note these babies are going to be pains in peoples asses especially those whom love the night on another note where did you get the flash bangs ??? |

Just saw these advertised on WGC's front page

I just tried out a sample of those grenades. They're kind of fun, but there are significant problems with them:
-about 7 separable parts which fly apart vanish on the field (well, 6 you get to hang onto the cotter pin and ring) -poor bb ejection (a small fraction of pellets actually leave the grenade) -not very durable (casing broke on maybe 10th throw) -inconsistent timer (like +300%/-50%) The bang is nice but the scattering parts is very frustrating. 5 out of the 7 loose parts are critical to the functioning of the grenade. The other two are supplied by a small qty of spares. Lose any one of the 5 peices and you have a paperweight.

I've been having a LOT of fun with my TG6 Thumper CO2-powered flashbang grenade. This thing works incredibly well even though the BB spread isn't exactly omnidirectional. Depends a lot on how it lands, what the BBs strike, etc. I know a lot of people would be hard pressed to justify the price although really, you're getting a reusable device that WORKS. Can't ask for much more than that.
