Zeke Metal Frame & Slide Set for TM Desert Eagle .50AE
I've been wanting to get a metal frame & slide set for my TM Desert Eagle .50AE but the only one I've found is the one from Zeke. I just want to know how the quality is of the Zeke Metal Frame & Slide set compared to the original TM plastic frame & slide. Is it really worth the money or should I just keep the original frame & slide? What advantages do you get when you go with a metal frame & slide? Any inputs would be greatly appreciated. :-D

I got the 10" Metal Zeke Kit, your most likely looking at the standard Zeke Metal kit though.
Aluminum construction, slightly harder kick I find. Needs some wear in, as it is a tight fit. |

Yeah, this was posted in the upgrades section before: http://airsoftcanada.com/showthread.php?t=30890
Yes, it will be a tight fit, but it will look amazing and recoil will be a bit tougher. I belive it does not add too much more weight. If I did this install, I would put a tougher recoil spring in to handle the metal slide. I would feel safer with the metal frame also. I just dont feel as the the Org. plastic frame would hold up long with the metal slide. Now, the first thing I would do, is but the metal frame, then buy the metal slide/barrel, and the recoil spring. With a hi-flow valve it would peform better too. ZEKE makes great quality stuff that will last. You can chose frome the reg. 6" Desert Eagle barrel, or the massive 10" Desert Eagle barrel.

OK, thanks for the replies. My friend has the Zeke Metal Frame & Slide set on his TM Desert Eagle and it doesn't look too nice though. The black isn't even a black black color like the original frame & slide, but more of a dark greyish color. It even had some extra aluminum sticking out, like they didn't take it out properly from the mold when they made it. I was just wondering, is this common when you purchase the Zeke Metal Frame & Slide set, or is my friends version an odd one that didn't come out right?
