Airsoft terminology

I've noticed that many people, mainly new people (such as myself), have a hard time with the abundant airsoft terminology. I've looked around and haven't found a threat with a lost of words and their meanings, perhaps someone would like to compile one and put it up in the FAQ section.

Sure:

"search tool": automatic searching utility in the top bar for executing word searches on preexisting forum posts. Especially handy for searching the FAQ section.

Try typing "dictionary" or "glossary" or "abbreviations".

for some reason "abbreviations" didn't come to mind...please delete threat mods.
