MP7 battery question
I just wanna know if we could use other 7.2v batteries but with higher mAh ?
Like these : http://www.megabatteries.com/items.asp?cat_id=56 1700 mAh , 2100 mAh etc. or if you want to use a 8.4v in a fake Laser unit , do we only need a mini to large plug ? thanks in advance ! |

Actually you'll need to pick up an external battery adaptor such as this in order to use larger batteries.
8.4V Mini Type or 7.2V Large Type Battery is recommended, using 8.4V or higher Large Type Battery may cause damage to internal parts http://www.wgcshop.com/pcart/shopper...P7EBA_srch_MP7

ok , that's really interesting. My question now : Is it really worth it or buying an extra battery would do the job ?

I think tearing the pack apart and having a shop build you a NiMH pack out of the same size of cell would be a better option. TM is foolish to still be using NiCds. I mean, the G18 battery is only 200 mAh for crying out loud.

If IR is too high, the voltage drop over the battery's resistance will reduce the voltage supplied to the motor and you get pretty crummy performance.

Hmm, good point. Anyone know what size cells are in these packs? I'm thinking this is the perfect application for a LiPo. The challenge would be fitting the connector and shaping the pack to the gun. Flexible physical designs are a LiPo strength though I wonder what it would cost to custom manufacture one like that. I doubt it will be long before someone starts offering aftermarket LiPo packs for AEPs.

Somewhat, but you wouldn't be able to fit it in the gun. Higher voltage means more cells.

man , I barely can understand what you guys are saying but whatever. If I use the MP7 , it will be as a CQB primary. Do you think I should buy tha package + another battery + 10 STAR mags ?
what d'you guys think ? |

That sounds like a pretty good package to me.
