just noticed it on the UNC website

anybody got some more details about it? yes, i did try google, but no hablo chinese/japanese and all other posts i could find about src in general seem to be mixed reviews - nothing really conclusive.

anyways, it looks like a cheap alternative to the vfc one, even if you might have to replace some of the internals

edit: found a manufacturer pic, looks really nice

isnt it the cutest little gun you've seen? like a rusky mp5k

i wonder how that would look with a fat silencer on it...

That is the fugliest faux-AKSU thumbhole foregrip I've ever seen. Yeesh.

That looks like slightly mutated AKMSU. That's right, AKMSU. Thing never hit mass production. Was made in limited quantities for s short period of time. If I wanted something like that, I'd rather go with a TM Spetz plus AKS underfolder. Gun of that size without a stock is useless to me.

yeah, thats pretty much the other option - ak beta + change over to a aks body

i know its small, but thats why i like it - it would make a nice cqb backup for someone with a svd/rpk

GRRRRR src is a GHEY company..everything is NOT compatiable with any other guns...plus..crap make...sorrie i had experience with SRC before...not very happy about it...

The folding stock won't fold properly onto a Beta-Spetz front end. The side rails are a nice touch, but that is one fugly thumbhole foregrip.

An AKMSU implies a stamped reciever (M) which this one is not, and a folding stock (S) which this doesn't have either. The proper designation of this bastardization would be AK47U or just AKU.

Either way it's hideous.
