I'm getting pretty fed up with the internals of my CA36K. I've already had to replace the piston and gears with Marui ones, but I'm still not 100% happy with it. Anyone know here if it's conceivable to fit a Marui mechbox in my G36K?

Word used to be the Version 2 TM mechboxes (with internals) were strongly suggested to be installed in CA guns to make them more reliable with a metal body. Supposedly a bit of filing and grinding were needed to fit properly. For a Version 3, I can't see much differnece, so I'll just give you aheads up that it most likely is possible, I'll just let the experienced tell you.

The shell on the CA gearbox's are thicker then TMs.
You may run into an issue with that V3. Or not, you never know. |

I've put a few Marui mechboxes in C.A. Armalite metal bodies with ZERO mods. They slipped right in and worked like a dream. These same mechboxes would not go into a G&G metal body though.
I'm not sure about Ver. III though. Sorry.
