broken tappet plate on CA M249

I was wondering if anyone knew what tappet plate I would need to replace my broken one in my CA M249?

Thanks,
Jackals

Greg asked me because he found his 249's nozzle isn't moving anymore, I told him the tappet plate was most likely broken, but was clueless about which tappet plate that mechbox uses, and suggested he post here. I know that certain mechboxes use certain length tappet plates, but since the CA M249 doesn't have a TM type "version" number attached to it's design, best to tap into the info pool on ASC to find out.

Well, considering 99.9% of the people on here haven't seen the insides of a 249............. Best bet would be to take yours out and compare to other tappet plates for length. I only suggested coming on here because I didn't have an answer for you. I didn't mean you'd get an answer within 5mins of posting.

I've asked a similar question a while ago, but about a TOP m249 with PGC Gearbox, which, I think, is similar to a stock CA Gearbox, and I've been told that it would be a V2 Tappet plate.

Not 100% sure, but I hope it helps.

Measure it / take a photo against a ruler. V2/V3 are distinguishable, and it uses standard TM parts (I don't know which version though).

All CA249 internals are Version 2 compatible, nozzle is an M16/M4 length. Hope this helps.

That actually helps a lot, thanks. Greg ordered both a V2 and V3 tappet plate, just in case.

If you're having repeating issues with broken v2 tappet plates (as you might expect to with a gun doing a lot of full auto), look into the PGC v2 tappet....it's a very flexible nylon, as opposed to the stiff plastic or fiber-reinforced nylon that other manufacturers use.
