TM Desert Eagle over lubing = less FPS... solution?

After my first game, I went a little crazy and took my D-Eagle apart and lubed it crazy. One thing I did (that I am regretting now) is I put lube down a small hole that I saw underneath the gun (I believe that hole goes STRAIGHT to the hop-up.) Now when firing the gun the BB's are slower, and seem to curve DOWNWARDS (and are less accurate) no matter where the hop-up is set to.. What can I do to sort of "de-grease" my gun? I am using a .80 weight synthetic lube, given to me specifically for airsoft gas guns. Will a hairdryer heating up the lube and a paper towel work? Or should I pull the hop-up apart? Also everyone tells me to put a drop on the mag, but where? Where the BB feeds into the mag, or where the gas comes out near the top? All help would be appreciated thank you in advance guys. Last question, I bought this gun very recently, how do I tell if I have a V1 or V2 D-Eagle? Thanks again. Chris.

Is the V1 the NON-hardkick DE? If so, the hardkick DE's mag valve is almost concealed. Actuall lube can be put anywhere on the mag but for the gun you should not over lube it. Anyway maybe u cld ask somebody near your place for help? I dont know where this hole is you are mentioning though. Butl I know is DE Hardkick's HOP UP is quite sensitive.

Overlubing sounds like the problem. You barely use a single drop along the slide rails.

Go see local people to learn more. The degreasing methods will depend on how bad you dunked it in grease, or how much you dropped into where.
If you can mop it off with a towel... god. If more than a mist of oil went into the hopup, you need to find help. It's not easy to remove that much lube safely. (I mean safely for the components).

When filling the mag (you checked how this is done, and the tricks, I hope) just put a drop or two in the fill nozzle. It will get mixed with the gas as it goes into the magazine's reservoir.

Thanks for the help Greylocks... Im going to try a hair dryer to get the lube very thin (and hopefully runny) and see if that helps.. if not I will fire a 100 rounds or so to try and get it out... But thanks for the help guys.

Heat may not be a smart solution... find a local person to help you before you do anything at all.

80 weight oil is to heavy.Try 30 or 25.
