Because you are 17 there are no reputable stores or people that will help you get a gun. Wait one more year and you can have the satisfaction of building it yourself. In the mean time read the FAQs and plan what you want to do.

There are machine shops out there that will make custom parts if you give them the specs. If it is for your dad he will have to contact the retailers listed under the Canadian Retialers tab above. If you don't want to do any custom work you can search for a gun smith in your area.

Vondnik may be able to help your dad. He does custom machining if your dad has the money.

While I agree with this statement, I do not see how it relates to this topic...

Killzone is a great game. Which assault rifle are you trying to make, the ISA assault rifle/ grenade launcher or the Helghast assault rifle/ shotgun?

What do you want exactly? A custom assembled gun, or a gun made totally from scratch? By that I mean milling parts and so on.
Custom assembling can be done/found, and is expensive (look at well over $1000).
Machining fron scratch? I hope you are very rich.

There is a saying within our community when someone approaches with a proposal that involves lots of money. It has applied to everything from making lowcap VN mags to starting a playing venue. I think it applies here just as well as anywhere else.

"We'll believe it when we see it."

It helps to keep people grounded.

Anyways, I think the general point of the question has been answered. If you can get workable specs, you take it to someone with a machine shop and they'll do the work for you. Any internal parts can be obtained from a retailer. If anyone would like to assist Acidgear with his project, please contact him via PM. I'm going to close this thread because it doesn't take too much imagination to figure out where it's going.

Best of luck.
