They are rated for pistol rounds and shrapnel.

I have a real PASGT, got it for 90$ shipped. It was in a good used condition. I repainted it black and Im still in the process of finding replacement and upgrade straps because the old one sucks.

The suspention is still good but I'd change it too.

The big PLUS about the real deal is the suspention inside. Some of the better models of replicas has the suspention, but they lack the weight wich I like because it feel more right. I like it real Ya know!

Don't get the replica with the stirofoam inside. It nice and confortable, but when you hit a game in hot summer, your head will cook real fast.
