ELCAN Scope
Im looking at purchasing a Guarder ELCAN scope here soon and I was wondering if anyone had one or any ELCAN scope for that matter? If so can you tell me what they're like. Thanks

I've used real Elcan C79s, there not bad, but theres better sights out there.

Actually, has anyone here purchased a gaurder elcan? I was looking at them too...

I did not buy one but i did look through one while at XP and it was like looking through a fish bowl drunk.... actually worse at least the fish bowl is big. Its not like you would put the "elkan" on there for looks it had damn well better be functional.

If the Guarder one is so bad, go for the Samurai, or a real one (Samurai is exactly like the real thing on the outside, don't have tritium -duh- and sights are different). Real one used will cost you a bit more than Samurai, and will be quite harder to find :P

I have no complaints about the REAL Elcan, they are a good piece of kit given that you know how to use the adjustments on the sight. Good luck finding the real one

OWN IT Had it next to real (Sniper chic I think was there for this) and it's damn near identical to the C79 pick of the samurai http://www.mediumdose.com/gallery/album07/ack

I've had an Elaine Elcan for a year and a bit, and it works awesome. Used it tons. It has Great eye relief and is super durable.
