Does anyone around Saskatoon own a FAMAS SV?

I was hoping to be able to hold/try out one of these to see what the story is. A lot of people say they are cheap and creaky, I hear the gearbox is old and terrible, yet at the same time Arnie's has a good review of it, and it's probably my fav. SMG as far as looks and design go.
