dented KSC Glock 19
I tried to adjust the hop-up using the allen key and I keep on making contact with the part under the hop up adjuster, part #8 I think. The loading ramp. I dented the side because of the teeth of the allen key keep on hitting the ramp. Can the gun still work ? Is there another way of not making contact with the part #8?

Take the slide off, remove the outer barrel and the inner barrel, then adjust the hop up with your fingers, then reassemble and test. Takes less than 1 minute. I hate those hop up adjustment tools, all they seem to do is cause damage. Especially on the KSC M11A1!
As long as your feed ramp is ok where the BBs make contact with it it should be fine. If there is a little nick on the ramp, a bit of filing should help it. Thy not test fire it to see? Better idea might be to use a medium that can safely catch the BBs, say a bucket of water, then pull the BBs out and inspect them for cuts and nicks. Those will catch the air when the BB is flying and cause veering off problems. |

you need to pull back a bit the outerbarrel... if it doesnt work, remove the slide and adjust the hopup from under... My G19 seems to shot fine when the hopup is adjusted at the maximum (clockwise)... otherwise, the BB curves (?) to the left...
EDIT: burnt... |
