MP5K Grip

Alright, here's a strange question. I just ordered a CA33E and with that on the way I'm beginning to look for reviews for a good small machine gun to use for fun. Two MP5K's will be the next addition to my airsoft arsenal. The problem is this:

The CA33E pistol grip is used on many Classic Army MP5 models. I don't think Classic Army makes an MP5K though and I'd really like to see the grips match, especially because the iron sights match and you can tell the guns have a similar build. By the way, this is only because I'm compulsive about things matching and looking uniform.

So the question is could you mod any of the Classic Army MP5's to look like an MP5K, or at the very least can you switch the pistol grip of a gun without much difficulty?

I know I'm weird, please don't hate me. If any of this didn't make sense, please let me know.

tm mp5k uses ver III mechbox (so that the battery can go into the "recoil spring" area of the gun. mp5a and sd series use ver II mechbox. the lower on my mp5k is different from the a5 and sd lower as it doesn't have to mount either retractable or solid stock. someone may make an early or a2 lower for mp5k, but i've never seen it. someone here may have done a mod to accomplish what you want.

the A5 and SD use version 2 mechbox. I know it's a typo above.. just writing it here for people reading the post.

Classic Army produces the older SEF style lower receiver for the MP5K.

Your other option is to change the CA33 grip to the new style.

I really prefer the standard CA33E grip. Although if you can put that grip on the 33E I don't see why you can't do it the other way 'round, eh?

One more question about the MP5K before I get my heart 100% set on them, can you use a standard (longer) MP5 magazine in them? I'm pretty sure you can but I wouldn't mind some confirmation on that point. Thanks for your help everyone!

Haha. I'm pretty into using standard mags for some added realism. It's just that 28 rds can be a tiny bit small. 50 rds is a lot better in my opinion.

Or placing a single BB in the chamber by hand, one at a time.
