Hell, if they do go for under $200, and they have a metal lower receiver, I will definately be picking up one of these.

Im gonna dig up a semi old topic because I saw some pictures. This was all posted on ShortyUSA of the UTG AK-47 "Warhawk"
"# Slated for an early 2006 release the UTG AK-47 WarHawk is sure to be a major turning point for “Made in China” airsoft guns. The WarHawk has been lurking in the shadows for some time now and was just recently reveled by UTG as their next production AEG. This prototype was released to us a few weeks ago and we have been working closely with UTG in “fine tuning” this awesome airsoft gun. # The UTG AK is modeled after a Romanian made AK-47 variant so the first thing you will notice is the different selector pattern from the traditional AK. One click down from safety is semi automatic for controlled accurate shots. Drop the selector down another click to full auto and at the squeeze of the trigger the WarHawk barks out 13 shots in under a second. The overall finish of the gun is outstanding as you can tell from the pictures. It is extremely hard to tell the plastic parts from the metal parts because the finish is so good. # Construction: Boasting an extremely high metal content the WarHawk weighs in at just over 6 pounds fully loaded. Metal parts include: muzzle/front sight, barrel, mock cleaning rod, front sling mount, click adjustable rear sight, bolt, upper receiver cover, trigger guard, trigger, selector switch, rear sling mount and butt plate. The upper receiver cover has a plastic tri rail mount attached to it with three screws. However, this can be removed for a more traditional AK look although it does leave three holes in the cover. Mounting a red dot and bi-pod does make a pretty mean looking RPK wannabe though! This prototype was found not to be compatible with Marui AK magazines however UTG is busy at work to correct that. They also are working on the finish of the imitation wood stock to make it more realistic as well as improving the piston and air nozzle to increase the guns power. # Performance: While not quite as good as a Marui the UTG does produce a respectable amount of firepower. The trigger is very responsive with very little delay. The WarHawk uses a standard Version 3 gearbox with is compatible with most Marui upgrades. The largest battery you can fit into the stock is an 8.4v 1800mah however with a 30 second modification you can shoehorn in a 8.4v 3300mah!! Behind the spring loaded bolt lies the adjustable hop up just like on the Marui. The adjustment slider is very positive feeling and does not vibrate out of position during firing. # Goodies: Included with the WarHawk will be two 600 round high capacity magazines, 8.4v 1200mah battery pack, charger, UTG 3 point tactical sling and a compact spring powered loading tool. The loading tool is not needed to load the included high capacity magazines but is a nice feature in case you order some standard magazines with the gun. They think of everything!! # The price tag for the UTG AK-47 WarHawk is estimated to be in the $150 range. Specifications are from our test results. # Operation: Electric # Select fire: Semi / Full Auto # Muzzle velocity: 250 fps w/ .2g # Effective range: 120-130 feet # Maximum range: 167 feet # Rate of fire: 825 RPM # Ammo type: KSC .2g or .25g # Hop Up: Adjustable # Weight: 6.2 lbs # Magazine capacity: 600 rds # Length: 34.5 inches # Battery: Large type 8.4v # Motor: EG700 equivalent # Comes with orange tip" http://www.shortyusa.com/?RID=17781 |

Pretty clever of them to include a RAS for their AK, considering how intimidating it can be to put one on a TM AK.

If its anything like the UTG MP5 then its worth it, provided you get a new O ring, metal bushings, shims, and a better spring, I hope the Inner barrel length is going to be the same as the TM. personally I'd rather spend the 150 more and get the TM AK, then again if the mags work, and the Mechboxes are the same then this gun is worth the money.
BTW, I have close to 25,000 rounds through my MP5 made by UTG and it still works fine, the only things I did have to fix were the threads in the plastic, I guess after you take a gun apart and put it back together 10 times to inspect, customize and adjust things, they threads in the plastic will eventually wear out. If I had this gun I'd invest the leftover money for a tightbore, a better motor, a 9.6V battery. bushings, M120+ spring and shims. should get the .25g BB's to about 400FPS |

I know it isn't as good, but I like it. After my mod project, I may snap one of these up (And get a Smokey's Bullpup conversion kit, hoping for the best).

There's one kit on WGC, and in a few other places. The finished product looks great...
However, I've never seen one around a Canadian retailer. The parts are extremely inconspicious, though... http://www.wgcshop.com/pcart/shopper...0_srch_bullpup http://www.wgcshop.com/pcart/shopper...G_srch_bullpup
