Good stuff! Congrats and welcome to the club! Metal slide and enhanced spring will have you snapping off rounds like crazy. I thought my metal slided G19 had a stock spring/guide in it (I bought it used) and was considering buying an enhanced spring from MadMax, but last night I compared side by side the two spring guides, and the one in my metal slide G19 had a different spring and guide in is already, thicker wire, etc.
Groombug, good info! I'll stick with the slide lock though. I have too many guns already that don't let me know when I fired my last round as it is. |

Now, the REAL question is, what would be better in a G19, a 6.04mm tightbore, or that twist barrel sold for the Hi-Capa. Surely a G19 one can be had from somewhere. I've read a fair bit on the twist barrel and am impressed with the design and thought that went into it and would love to have one in my G19. Even if I bought the hicapa one and had it machined to fit. |
