Hey, somebody else has one! Same markings on mine, it's dated 1918 also.

Bought mine from a surplus store in California.

Decent little chest rig. The pockets are a perfect fit for G&P 110 rd "Vietnam" style midcaps, so I'm assuming the Tokyo Mauri 80 rd lowcaps would fit perfectly too, the TM "Vietnam" Highcaps sure do.

The 250 rd Beta Spetznaz highcaps can fit in the pouches too but it's a bit of a squeeze. You can still get one in and snap the pouch shut.

Small FRS radios are a nice fit in the pouches, as are "Silva Ranger" sized compasses, etc.

I used to use this with one pouch for an FRS radio, one pouch for a compass, a few pouches with dummy grenades, and the rest of the pouches with 110 rd midcaps. Have since sold off most of my midcaps and am back to using 68 rd lowcaps, but this is a great little chest rig and I think I'm going to use mine again this weekend to carry a bunch of beta Spetz mags, etc etc.
