HFC Vsr-10/11

I hope this is not a re-post, but i was surfing around redwolf airsoft and on the new products list i saw a HFC VSR-11, and i was like wtf. i also wrote 10/11 because on other sites they refer it as a hfc vsr-10. iv seen some call it the UFC 11.

clickity click

its surprising cuss it going for 100USD

HFC VSR-11
Plastic stock and metal barrel. Firm cocking action with the metal cocking lever. Hop up adjustable lever is on the side of the receiver, easy to adjust with. Each shot is accompanied by a satisfying solid jolt and "clunk". Black stock design adds a more tactical and military look. Power and accuracy are good with such attractive price. 500rds 6mm BBs and BB loading tool included.

looks like a direct copy of the TM VSR-10
the only difference so far is that it runs on gas.
the colour looks a little glossy, but it might be the angle of the camera.

I hope this isn't a repost, for some reason my mind is telling me it is.

Depending on the build quality, I'd buy it. Since I spent a helluvalot more on my VSR-10 in the first place, and wound up doing the exact same mod...

Drilling out the stop on the piston head isn't difficult at all, and after taking the weights off the piston, they claimed (in the review) that they could get some 350+ fps velocities...

seems like it'd be a good base gun for use with marui compatible upgrades.

My guess is retailers will still jack up the price to about $300 once there over here in Canada.

Look at the luger sniper carbine its listed for $81.00 ($95 Canadian) on WGC but 007 has it listed for $375 canadian (im just using 007 as an example, im sure all the other retailers sell them at that price too) which is a complete rip off, becasue look at the M-14 its listed on wgc for $318.00 (392.18 canadian) and 007 has them listed for $680.

http://www.007airsoft.com/products/htm/gas-kjw.htm

So for the M14 the price is determined but taking the origional price and multiplying it by 2.1

But for the Sniper Carbine, since it's cheaper, the origional price is multiplyed by 4.1

I really dont get how they come up with these numbers, becasue really, the carbine should only cost 199 canadian....But it doesnt, becasue people will still come up with the money one way or another.

Erik

If it runs on gas, wouldn't it be TOTALLY different from the mauri ones?

doesn't run on gas, they made an error on Redwolf. It's the exact same design as the Marui. (supposedly)

Erik-James... before you accuse the retailers of jacking the prices for no reason, why dont you read about Import Duties, Licenses, and all the red tape they have to pay? Not to mention the exhange rate and shipping charges?

Well, I thought I did calculate the rates up in the above post. By taking a gun from overseas and doubling the cost is one thing (what is done with most aeg's, gbb's, and other higher cost items) but to take a decent already cheap gun from overseas and quadruple the cost is just ridiculous. They are making twice as much profit then what the gun is already worth. But I guess its how they make their money, and they can control the costs, and people will keep buying. and even with duty fee's and such, they are buisnesses so they get discounts on that sort of stuff, not to mention, I'v ordered $500 worth of airsft gear and didnt have to pay any duty on any of it. So there probably not paying alot out for costs like that.
