Avatar Grenade Not Holding Gas
Hey folks,
I bought an Avatar grenade a few months ago and had it go off exactly once before having issues. It doesn't hold gas at all. When you fill it, the gas just blows right out the spot it's supposed to go when it detonates. I've tried replacing/lubing the o-rings on the piston. Has anyone else had this issue? It was a decently significant investment and I'd love to get it working. Thanks! |

Yes. I also have this issue, no amount of lube will solve this.
I have 3 of them, 2 have this issue. I'm looking into getting replacement o rings but so far SOL. I'm thinking of getting like Blackblitz X rings and stretching them to fit.

Yes, a few weeks ago and then again last week. They haven't gotten back to me so far.
I've taken it apart and replaced o-rings to no avail. |

I think what needs to happen is the o ring of the piece inside that slides up needs to be replaced with an o ring that'sfatter than what's in there right now. No idea how or where to find that though tbh.

Hop over to www.allorings.com they have every o-ring in every size and material you can possibly think of. That said, you'd really need a micrometer to determine the size etc, especially if you are trying to upsize a given o-ring.
