VSR-10 Spring = FPS?

My local field has a limit of 480 fps for sniper rifles.

I just bought a VSR Bar-10 to upgrade with a AA hop up, AA trigger and piston, ML bucking, and a AA 6.01 inner barrel.

People have recommended AA springs anywhere from M130 to M150 to stay just under 480 FPS.
What is the best option?
Thanks

M130 is about 450
M150 is about 520

Website fps varies greatly based on if they're going off manufacturer estimation or testing themselves.
And if they test themselves, it's dependent on that gun. That's why ehobby had 100fps variations on springs.
Easiest to got M150 and cut it down, but safest to just get an M130

Novritsch makes M140 spring for his SSG-24 that shoots about 490 fps new and once worn may shoot about 480.

I guess cutting a M150 is just trial and error. There is no formula, cut x amount of coils to reduce x amount of FPS?

I have the exact same dilemma.

The only way to reach your objective is to buy a M-150 and cut it.
I have already bought a M-150 which I will cut. I figure two coils to start and then leave the gun cocked overnight since once worn a bit you lose about 20 fps or so.
