HPA tapping a Co2 mag.
Hey there, I have an Uzi that runs 12g Co2s in its mags.
I was thinking about HPA tapping the mag. Has anyone tried this? What pressure would i need to run? If i ran around 100psi can anyone tell me what my fps would be around? (It shoots about 390-410) |

I drilled and tapped a 8G co2 bulb for the G&G K98, drilled out a hole in the mag for the nipple.. worked great.
Had to JB weld the sucker in there, the Co2 bulb walls were of course very thin. I can't recall what pressure the 8G ones were rated for, but I just used a co2/HPA tank without a secondary regulator as anything below 130 just flopped BB's out. I really wanted to do further testing with this setup, but the gun quickly started falling apart. YMMV. Best of luck!
