Need advice on how to handle this ASC transaction
Hello,
I'm not sure if this is the right forum but here goes. I bought an AEG M4 through the ASC forums last November. The AEG arrived, but: 1. the magazine release mechanism was missing 2. the buttstock battery cover was also missing 3. the included battery doesn't fit (too long, wrong connector) Note: none of the missing parts was listed in the ad I contacted the seller and he said oops he'd mail me the magazine release mechanism, but that the battery cover is only aesthetics so he won't send one to me. I said no, the battery cover is common sense because I game all my guns outdoors and the cover protects the battery and wires from the elements. As for the battery he said I can rewire the gun so that it has the correct (deans) connector. I said no I'm not gonna do that. It's been over a month and I haven't heard back from him (I emailed him a reminder last week). I originally gave him some slack because of exams and Xmas. But he's had plenty of time now to reply. I contacted the ASC forum admin but haven't heard back either. So at this point I don't think the seller is going to address my issues. Any advice? Should I give him a negative or neutral trader rating? What are your suggestions? Much appreciated. |
