Replica gear vendors
Hey all, getting back into the airsoft scene after quite a few years being gone. Looking to kit up again over the next while but am not really sure where to look for gear.
Where are the best places to hit up for gear? Looking for replicas of things like crye G3 wear, JPC vests and the like. What are some reasonably priced brands for these pieces? |

for replicas I ended up to get decent stuff from shootercbgear.com the sizing will be a pain so try to go a size bigger. Check out army surplus stores too, they may have nice stuff

1) Visit Trigger Airsoft In Richmond.
2) Skip the fake stuff and shop at DS Tactical in New West. 3) Check out Airsoft Depot in Toronto and EHobby in Taiwan. D) Check out the classifieds on here for gear hogs flipping stuff. Just saw one for a Ferro Slickster.

There's usually affordable real-steel equipment out there that will suit your needs. Sometimes it's slightly more, but it'll be better quality, better cut and dragon, last longer, etc. There's very few things I'll buy that are repro or airsoft grade. Real-steel gear also holds its value much better long term. Decent quality Airsoft gear is usually more expensive or not much cheaper than good quality, but not too-end real-steel. Anyways, food for thought.

Bumping this with another related question. What brands of camo sets are worth my time and price? Are there any decent reproductions of crye combat sets? Someone mentioned to me that emerson is garbage and won't last long, but besides that I honestly don't know what options are out there anymore. Tried searching and couldn't find an answer, thoughts?

Flash force industries probably makes the best replica of crye gen 3 combat uniforms. I personally own a set of their G3's in woodland and I quite like them.
Semapo used to be good as well, but their quality control went down significantly as of late. Otherwise, you should look at either 5.11 tactical or tru spec for uniforms. They are more closely styled after a standard army combat uniform, but they will last longer than any repro brands. If you have money to burn, get real crye combats or fields. |
