Sempao Gear is considered one of the top replica producers of SF gear in the SF Reenactment Community (see DT6 forums). However as of late their quality control has been starting to become an issue, there are a few posts on that forum mentioning poor stitching for pouches and such.

Check it out and see what you think, in the end it is still a good option for airsoft, especially if you want something close to the real thing but can't accord to drop all the coins on it.

They use crye fabric for their crye camo pattern. I have their product that was made when QC was better; the stitching is alright -comparable to many top airsoft brand but easily distinguished from Crye's. If you're looking for looking for crye stuff, buy crye unless its AOR or NCPC which are overinflated. Crye will hold its value better than Semapo.

So Ferro is a real steel brand and Semapo and Phantom are repro right? From what I understand in this thread, it means:

Ferro > Semapo > Phantom

The one downside is Ferro never has anything you actually want to buy in stock, and sometimes not even displayed on the website.

Yeah but Ferro's easy to contact and willing to work with you on stuff not in stock. He'll either crank off what you need in a day or two or let you know when a production run is coming up.

His user name on here is Wey Ferro but I'm not sure how often he logs in these days.

I noticed this. I really wanted to buy a Slingster but couldn't find one anywhere.
