VFC ambi part

I am about to order the follow from VFC directly:
VF9-MSY-KACGEAR-01: Ambi-selector gear set (SR16/PDW)

my question is this: What do they mean SR16/PDW? does it mean this part only works with the said models?

it's possible the lower has specific cutouts or spots made for the parts to rest properly. I can't remember on the pdw, it's been a couple years since I had the vfc pdw in my hands. I do recall the lower being different, but not specifically where and how different.

I think the vfc gearbox already has the proper cutouts for the ambi selector. You might need the selector plate too, see if you can find a picture of the pdw selector plate.

It's the one that comes with VFC KAC guns like the SR16, SR635, and PDW. It also comes with some of the Avalon guns. It will work in any VFC gearbox and receiver set.

Thanks for your info. I ended up ordering the parts as I already have two receiver sets made by VFC. APS ones were too thick to fit but these look a lot thinner to fit under the selector plate.
